This antique chest of drawers was burnt in a fire and we have reconstructed a new one based on the style of pieces that survived. New carvings included: all the ornaments, the figures and heads of lions, and the entire construction. (Material used: walnut). This work was part of the restoration project of a set of furniture.

Final work
This walnut chest was custom-made for a set of antique cutlery, so that the pieces can be placed into appropriate slots.
We took part in decorating a private apartment, for which we created items that imitate the Egyptian style.
The bamboo parquet is covered with a transparent varnish. The corners of the floor are tinted with dark paint, while the centre of the floor is clear (as if it was used more often).
The boat (under the ceiling) is carved from a solid lime trunk and entirely painted with aniline colours. The bottom of the boat is decorated with real seashells, synthetic moss, and imitation of corals and algae. The imitation of the wet surfaces was achieved with matte and glossy varnishes, which create the impression of an ancient boat that has just been lifted from the bottom of the sea. The boat was hung to the ceiling as a chandelier. This is a reduced copy of a real ancient Egyptian vessel.
The mirror frame in the bathroom is carved from lime and painted with smalto to represent scarabaeus beetles. Some parts of the walls have scarabaeus as well.
The walls have thin cracks on the surface to make them look aged. Egyptian inscriptions are handwritten on the walls using calligraphy skills.
